Here at Sodbury we organise our own open Hill climb event every year to take part in the local South West Hill Climb series.

We hold our event on a local climb 7 miles north of Chipping Sodbury, on Rushmire climb. The climb starts leaving Wotton Under-edge & finishes on the tops of the Cotswold Golf club. The climb is 2km long averaging 6% with a maximum gradient of 10% at the bottom.

Its normally organised by our long term member Matt Reynolds who always puts on a fantastic event with prizes to be won & an amazing atmosphere to be around. After the event there's an awards presentation in Wotton Under-edge where everyone can share their joy and pain of the hill climb over some delicious home made cake & coffee.
